The pledge encourages artists to sell their artwork for a specific price point—typically under £220—and when they reach £1,000 in sales, they pledge to buy another artist's work.

It’s a way of fostering solidarity and ensuring that artists continue to have a platform to sell and support each other’s careers. The pledge has grown significantly and is now recognised worldwide.
